Cat AdopTion Service is 100% volunteer-run. We have no paid staff, which means every volunteer makes a direct impact on the lives of the cats we rescue. Whether you have a few hours a week or a few hours a month, we have a place for you.
Volunteer Opportunities
Cat Care Volunteer
Help care for our cats at PetSmart La Jolla or Petco Poway. Duties include feeding, cleaning, socializing, and showing cats to potential adopters.
Foster Parent
Provide a temporary home for cats who need extra care, socialization, or are too young for adoption. We provide all supplies and veterinary care.
Transport Volunteer
Help transport cats from shelters, to vet appointments, or between foster homes and adoption locations.
Event Helper
Assist at adoption events, fundraisers, and community outreach activities. Great for those with limited availability.
Foster a Cat
Fostering is one of the most impactful ways to help. By opening your home to a cat in need, you're giving them a chance to thrive in a loving environment while they wait for their forever home.
We provide everything you need: food, litter, supplies, and all veterinary care. You provide the love and a safe space.
